A house built
cup by cup.
We did not set out to build a conglomerate. We set out to make a single cup of cha that someone would walk ten minutes out of their way for. The rest is a long answer to that one small brief.
mysanbangladesh began in a corner shop in Dhanmondi in 2010, with two employees, one milk steamer, and a recipe book written in a hotel notepad. Today the group operates across Bangladesh — yet the original brief has not changed. Each brand under our roof must answer the same question: would someone walk ten minutes out of their way for this?
If the answer is no, we close it. If the answer is yes, we build the systems, the training academies, the supply chain and the human culture that let it travel across districts without losing the thing that made it worth travelling for in the first place.
We remain a private company. We have shareholders, but we do not have quarterly earnings calls. This is not a strategy. It is simply the only way we know how to build things that last longer than we will.
